While studying Education at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, I was fascinated to learn about typical and atypical development.When I graduated with a Bachelor of Education I worked with typically developing children and children with special needs in a variety of programs including daycares, schools, churches, and in family’s homes. I have a passion for working with children. Since moving to Ottawa I have worked in various agencies in the Autism sector and am now looking to take some private clients.
I have training in ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis), in 2011 I passed the Ontario Provincial IBI Competencies Evaluation. I also have training in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, valid First Aid Certification with the Canadian Red Cross and have a recent Police Check for Service with the Vulnerable Sector.
